For our second installment of the SBG Sessions series, we caught up with singer/songwriter Spencer Walters. Influenced by the likes of Jack Johnson, Ryan Adams and John Mayer, this young artist has a great sound that immediately captures the attention of his listeners. Spencer, who hails from Oswego, Illinois, first began pursuing his solo career in 2011following the break up of his band at the time. After spending the next couple months developing his sound and working on new material, Spencer wrote his breakthrough song “There I Go” which began to shape the feel and eventually became the title track of his debut solo EP.
