Last Friday, Chance the Rapper took to twitter to announce that he’d be playing a secret show the next evening somewhere in Chicago and for the right amount of retweets, he’d disclose the location. Chance’s following quickly answered the call. As it turned out, Action Bronson was all set to headline Reggies that Saturday but at the last minute was unable to make the show. Rather than let Chicago’s hip-hop scene suffer a loss, the good people at Reggies reached out to Chance the Rapper headline a free, all ages show. If you were unable to make the show (or even worse, one of the 250+ people stuck outside the venue after it hit capacity), Davy Greenberg comes to the rescue with an impressive recap of the performance.
